Summary
The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is governed by a three-member Board whose members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by two-thirds of the state Senate. The PLCB is a state agency that serves as the commonwealth’s responsible seller of wines and spirits as a wholesaler and retailer, and regulates the manufacture, importation, sale, distribution and disposition of liquor, alcohol, and malt or brewed beverages in the commonwealth.

Fee: $965 initial license, $295 renewals

Each vendor whose products are selected for regular listing must obtain a Pennsylvania Vendor Permit from the PLCB’s Bureau of Licensing.
A vendor’s permit fee of $265 and a filing fee of $700 must be submitted with the permit application. The fee for a registered agent or brokers permit is $65 per year.
