Upcoming Extended Producer Responsibility and Bottle Bill Compliance Deadlines in MN, CO and OR  

Minnesota EPR Registration Deadline – July 1, 2025

  • Obligated producers selling paper and packaging products in Minnesota must register with Circular Action Alliance by July 1 and sign the Minnesota Interim State Addendum when available. Visit the members-only Minnesota EPR page for more information.

Wine in Cans Added into Oregon Bottle Bill Program– July 1, 2025

  • Senate Bill 1520 (2022) expanded Oregon’s Bottle Bill to include wine in cans, effective July 1, 2025. Businesses that sell such beverages to Oregon retailers or manufacture and sell them directly to consumers will need to register with the Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative prior to July 1. Colorado EPR Reporting Deadline – July 31, 2025

  • Obligated producers selling paper and packaging products in Colorado must submit their first reports under the state’s EPR law. Visit the members-only Colorado EPR page for more information.
