FIVS International Wine Greenhouse Gas Protocol

In 2016, Wine Institute and International Partners revised and updated the FIVS International Wine Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol, first released in 2008, to offer a common framework for calculating and communicating about carbon emissions that is in step with international standards and practices. It is tailored for use at the international level by all segments of the wine industry, including growers, wineries, contract bottlers, while providing the necessary guidance to report domestic emissions at the local level.
