Additional Information

Beginning August 15, 2026, a winery must obtain a direct shipment license in order to ship wine directly to consumers in Delaware.

Also effective Aug. 15, 2026, the Federal on-site provision no longer applies to consumers in Delaware, and wineries that do not hold a Direct Shipment License are prohibited from making on-site or off-site wine shipments to Delaware consumers under any circumstances.
