New EU Nutrition Calculator

Wine Institute has developed an EU Nutrition Declaration Calculator to assist with generating EU-compliant nutrition information. This valuable new tool, for members only, will calculate nutrition information for relevant EU labeling on- and off-label, which becomes mandatory for wines produced after Dec. 8, 2023, and imported or sold into the EU marketplace.

The calculator is based on information in a guidance document provided by the European Commission’s directorate-general for health and food safety. It is similar to other calculators developed by Wine Institute in coordination with the Technical Advisory Committee.
