The Wine Institute Winter Board of Directors Meeting was held Dec. 4-6, 2022, at The Inn at Spanish Bay in Pebble Beach, where four new winery members and two new associate members were approved for membership. Board members heard remarks from Chairman Rick Tigner and President & CEO Bobby Koch as well as reports from our California, Environmental and State Relations departments. The following wineries were approved for membership:

• Ironstone Vineyards – Murphys (Calaveras County)
• Timbre Winery – Arroyo Grande (San Luis Obispo County)
• Wade Cellars – Napa (Napa County)
• Windward Vineyard – Paso Robles (San Luis Obispo County)

The following businesses were approved for associate membership:

• Decant, Inc. – Winegrape pomace polyphenol, antioxidant extraction technology for health, cosmetic use cases, and wine industry sustainability
• Libation Labs, Inc. – Creation, sales, and marketing of NFT collections for wine brands

The following changes were made to the Board of Directors:

• Ed Matovcik was approved as an at-large director, representing Constellation Brands
• Lorenso Muslia was approved as the alternate District 8 director, representing Andis Wines
