State Issues Guidance to Counties on Business Reopenings

The State of California issued guidance to county governments looking to submit plans to reopen businesses before the State reopens as a whole. Wine Institute is actively engaged with the Governor’s Administration to demonstrate that wineries can open safely and be included on the list of approved business establishments to reopen. The guidance states that the list can be expanded “if the Chief Public Health Officer deems it to be in the interest of public health and safety.”
