Sonoma County Farm Bureau (SCFB) has a new program to assist operations in the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD) with stationary diesel engine compliance. Air quality regulations require you to register stationary diesel engines larger than 50 bhp.

If you think you have unregistered engines, you may be eligible to enroll in SCFB’s free program to become compliant. This program limits the potential for you to receive fines or action from third-party organizations. SCFB will assist with the registration process at no cost, and can even visit your property to help you gather information necessary for registration.

Whether you are currently in compliance or not, SCFB can also assist in applying for funding to replace existing engines.

SCFB is hosting two free workshops in March 2020:

Wednesday, March 4, 2020 (10:00am – 1:30pm)

Sonoma Marin Fairgrounds, 175 Fairgrounds Drive, Petaluma

Thursday, March 5, 2020 (3:00pm – 4:30pm)

Sonoma County Farm Bureau Office, 3589 Westwind Blvd., Santa Rosa
