Pennsylvania Makes Changes to Store Closure Policies

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) has announced changes to their store closure policies that are being implemented this week. While their Fine Wine and Good Spirits retail stores remain closed to in-store shopping, the PLCB issued a release indicating stores that will be opened as of April 20, 2020 to allow for curbside pickup of wine and spirits. Additionally, the PLCB has announced that their Special Order Program will begin limited service to Wine Expanded Permit licensees (WEPs). The Special Order program consists of items that are not regularly stocked by the PLCB warehouse. All WEP licensees will be able to place special orders again on Wednesday, April 20, 2020 and will be able to pick them up at designated PLCB stores beginning on Friday, April 24, 2020.

Wine Institute will continue to monitor and provide updates on the current situation here.
