Stern and Associates is a wine production and management firm directed by its founder and president, Peter M. Stern.
Peter Stern has been active in the California wine industry for 33 years. His formal training began with a Masters Degree in Enology from the University of California, Davis and he studied Business Administration in the MBA program at the University of California, Berkeley.
Mr. Stern has worked with industry standard bearers Gallo Winery and Robert Mondavi Winery and as VP, Partner and Winemaker for the J. Lohr Winery in San Jose, California.
Mr. Stern's work has been recognized with a front page article in the Wall Street Journal (3/29/91), a feature article in Wine Spectator (12/99) and many other noted publications.
Stern and Associates have acted as administrator and winemaker for the New Jersey based Royal Wine Corp. These wines have won awards in local, national and international competitions in every year and have been recognized in major wine publications as some of the finest wines in California.
In addition, in 1997 Mr. Stern and two partners incorporated Neocork Technologies, Inc. Neocork has developed, manufactured (patent issued, 1999) and is selling a synthetic cork for wine. Mr. Stern is the CEO, Chairman.
